"My name is João Gomes and my story in the world of barbering began around 2016."

I started my journey simply by marking the salon and organizing the space. In the beginning, I didn't see this art as I do today, and I love it so much. At the time, I considered it "just a job," until I saw it with different eyes.

About a year later, I felt more and more that this was what I wanted for myself and my future. Learning to cut hair was what I desired most! In 2018, I met Lucas and Carlos, who were my mentors. They helped me from the beginning and always supported me, along with my family. I always sought to evolve and improve every day. I loved cutting hair more and more, and being able to make people feel good about themselves! Those were years of learning, struggle, and sacrifice.

In 2022, along with my best friend Carlos, we decided it was time to bring something different to the city! We then decided to open True Shape Salon, which I am incredibly proud to say is the best barbershop in town! Together, we want to elevate the name of our barbershop worldwide and show that yes, it is possible to achieve dreams and goals through humility, dedication, commitment, and determination.

I want to thank my family, my wife, my son, Carlos and Lucas, and everyone who has always been with me on this journey for all their unconditional support. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me!
